Glass hot bending machine, we also call it “glass mould pending machine” is an equipment used for processing hot bent glass. It heats flat glass to a softened state, then shapes it in a mold, and finally produces curved glass through annealing treatment. This process is in the furnace and it has two types:Continuous and intermittent.
The continuous hot bending furnace usually consists of 5-6 chambers and 11-13 workstations, which can quickly complete processing in a batch of products, taking about ten minutes to finish the products. Intermittent hot bending furnaces have only one chamber and a long processing cycle, requiring several hours , making them suitable for producing small batches of oversized hot bending glass.
The machine includes heating system, control system, and forming mold. The heating system is responsible for heating the glass to a softened state, while the control system is used to regulate the temperature in the heating area and the temperature and pressure parameters in the furnace cavity, ensuring that the glass is uniformly heated and correctly formed in the mold. According to design requirements, the molding mold can have various irregular curved surfaces to achieve various shapes such as shallow and deep bending of glass.
