Plunger was widely used in the feeder of glass machinery and glass melting furnace for the glass melt forming.
Melting glass furnace can work so long time continuously,however some special parts such as spout, plunger, tubes and orifice ring that need frequently change to keep the production smoothly.
Plunger, tubes, spout bowls and orifice rings are very easy to be damaged when glass furnace runs, those parts can always touch the glass liquid. That needs very good thermal shock resistance. Many melting glass furnace mainly use fused cast material such as mullite and AZS for its tubes, spouts and so on.These material can satisfy the production demand and can save the glass factory material and let the work effective more higher.
