Ramming material
Ramming material is an amorphous refractory material that is constructed through the ramming method and can be hardened by heating above the room temperature.
It is made by the mixture refractory aggregates, powders, binders, admixtures with water or other liquids with a certain gradation. According to the different materials, ramming materials can be divided into various types such as high alumina, clay, magnesium, dolomite, zirconium, and silicon carbide carbon. These materials are widely used in manufacturing industries such as metallurgy, building materials, non-ferrous metal smelting, chemical industry, machinery, etc.
They are used to fill the gaps between furnace cooling equipment and masonry or as filling materials for masonry leveling layers.
The chemical stability of the ramming material and resistant to erosion, wear, peeling, and heat shock make its reliability and durability in high temperature environments.
